Good evening angels. I am here to listen and to be.

Thank you L It is a good and warm night and you did have a good time dancing.

Yes, that is right. It is always enjoyable dancing and it feels almost like summer.

To feel the warm winds caress the skin is indeed a gentle and nurturing feeling. Within the mind of man there is much to nurture. It is a blessing to nurture the love within, the soul within, the hope within. These are ethical values and the nurturing of these values leads the soul to think of itself more, to find the comfort to contemplate and Be.

To Be is a blessing as well. Oftentimes in our harried days we are uncertain of who we are because we are fulfilling the expectations of others, or at times we are fulfilling our own fear expectations, unbeknownst to us that we are doing this. We go on rote. We are on automatic pilot, cruising through life just doing, doing, doing, like the bees gathering nectar. There is little respite from the task.

And yet to pause, to contemplate, to think, relax, rest, and just be in the loving, blessed energy of self, this is good as it nourishes who we are. It allows us to just Be the totality of self to the degree that we are willing to let go and allow the totality to be expressed.

What is the totality of self? We are a mind – we know this because we think. And we are a body – we know this because we feel our body and we see other bodies and so we know that in this three-dimensional reality we are real. And yet there are other parts of us – there are emotions. Sometimes we do not acknowledge our emotions because they spurt out of us like water from a fire hose, or sometimes they just trickle like water from the faucet. We often take our emotions from granted, thinking that they come and go as quickly as clouds on a windy day. But believe me when I tell you that emotions are always with us. There is not one moment of your being in which the emotions are not present, because you are either in fear emotions or you are in loving emotions. To fear is to feel the emotions of repression, rejection, sadness, dejection, unhappiness and the host of others that feed upon the lightness of spirit.

And then there are the loving emotions – the happiness, the enthusiasm, the joy, the glee, the passion, the zeal, the excitement. All of these are the lightness of spirit that we feel when we are in tune with the love that is within us.

There is a hierarchy of emotion, from the peak experiences of passion and joy to the lowest levels of sadness, rejection and dejection. We run the gamut. But as we shed and release the ballast of fear that anchors us to the fear emotions, we give ourselves the buoyancy to lift out of fear and be light as a butterfly flitting in the summer sun. We are free, free to feel the totality of who we are.

The totality of us includes our spirit, too. Our spirit is the center of us. It is the oneness of us that connects us eternally, along with our soul, to the Spirit Consciousness of the Creator. Our Creator is the prime spirit consciousness and we are the seed of the Prime Seed. A seed always has the miracle ability to create more consciousness, to embellish consciousness, to develop and create.

So we are spirit. We must remember that we are spirit because we have forgotten this element of us even as it is the most essential element of us.

Why have we forgotten who we are? We have forgotten who we are because we are here to learn who we are and if we had not forgotten we would not have had the opportunity to learn, step by step, about each of the component pieces of ourself.

Think of an object in your life that you treasure. Imagine that you have placed this special object in a position in your home where you can view it. Each day you pass by this object, and you admire it. You cherish it. It brings you happiness and it reminds you of all good things. But over time, you may begin to not notice this object because it becomes a part of the woodwork, as it were. It becomes standard, de facto, insignificant perhaps in that it may become covered with dust. It may just not shine anymore.

One day you remember that you have not seen it. So you begin to look for it. And in fact you may have moved it, not even being aware that you moved it. So you hunt. And then eventually you find the object, and you dust it off. You begin to see it for all the specialness that it once had to you. In fact, it even has new meaning because your hiatus has given it more meaning. Things happened to you during your time away from this object that you can now relate to the object. So it becomes personified and exemplified further by these new experiences.

And soon this object has new and changed and unique meaning. It becomes understood all the more because you see it through new eyes and new knowledge and with a different heart.

This object is truly you. You are discovering who you are as a spirit consciousness. You have forgotten yourself, you have forgotten that you are a soul and a spirit and a heart and a mind all wrapped so preciously in a physical body, which is the temple of your soul. You are an exquisite creation, and yet you are discovering just how exquisite you are by forgetting, and then by remembering and rediscovering. In each moment, each tiny aspect of yourself that you uncover and see with opened eyes – this is the glorious you that you find through the process of discovery. You are knowing in new ways WHO YOU ARE.

So our task is to open our eyes and our heart and our mind to the spirit of self. There is a vast sea of sunny, bright light within our spirit. The bright light of the spirit shines so bright that the physical eyes would not be able to behold the brightness. But the spirit knows itself and sees itself in all this brightness. And the soul is learning to see. And the physical body and the ego and the intellect are together as children of the soul and spirit learning to accept that there is more to existence than their petty brotherhood perceives, that is, petty only when fear rules the day. When fear is released, the brotherhood of fear becomes the assembly of new life with humility and the discovery of self. The ego is quelled and the soul and spirit are allowed to reign in the glory and the beauty that were bestowed upon them when and as the Creator created his Spirit Children.

So here tonight we have thoughts on who we are as spirit consciousness. Remember who you are. BE who you are. Know in your heart and in your mind that you are far more than what you at times perceive yourself to be. Just allow yourself to BE those elements that are quietly waiting, patiently waiting to be discovered, and be owned, and be fed, and LIVED.

Live happily. Live mightily. Live with the gusto that is yours to BE!
